Apparently one of the greatest music producers of all time thinks ReelwUrld is cool! We’ve been selected as semifinalists in Pharrell Williams’ startup accelerator program, The Black Ambition Prize. Here’s my reaction video moments after I received our letter of advancement:
The news came the day after we advanced in Techstars Rising Stars accelerator program, and a week after one of the judges from Techcrunch Disrupt reached out to me personally on LinkedIn to say how refreshing ReelwUrld’s pitch is (specifically, our intro, “Hollywood doesn’t give a f**k about you. We do.”). Bwahahaha, we’re cutting through the noise. The energy is building and it’s been a long time coming!
